Our design consultation services are centered around helping homeowners better understand how they want their spaces to feel, function, and evolve over time. Rather than pushing expensive trends or one-size-fits-all aesthetics, we approach design as a collaborative and participatory process rooted in conversation, lifestyle, and lived experience.

About our Design Lead
Design consultations are led by Marina Sachs, who holds a Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) from the University of Florida with a background in visual art, photography, material culture, spatial thinking, and collaborative creative practice.

Before joining O’Hair Restorations, Marina worked as a Professor of Photography, Graphic Design, and Studio Art from 2019–2024, helping students of all ages and backgrounds develop their visual language, creative confidence, and ability to make informed aesthetic decisions. Her work has been exhibited across the United States, and she has collaborated with both independent artists and luxury brands.

Marina’s artistic practice is deeply rooted in observation and lived environments — documenting the people, spaces, layers, and emotional striations that shape everyday life. Her experiences dovetail nicely into her approach working with clients to build meaningful spaces. Homes aren't staged “showpieces” meant to avoid being lived in -- they are deeply personal spaces people genuinely inhabit every day. Spaces that are functional, warm, and livable can still be beautiful -- and uniquely yours.

Marina is especially interested in helping clients discover what they are naturally drawn toward rather than steering them toward expensive or rapidly changing design trends. Good design should not distance people from their homes, it should help people feel more alive in them.
Building a space can be a daunting opportunity, particularly because our spaces reveal something about who we are and, perhaps, who we want to be. Good design (in any medium) doesn't just exist at the surface of a space, it pushes deeper, creating conditions for self-discovery.

We do not provide architectural drawings, engineering services, or services requiring state licensure. Any permit-required plans, structural modifications, or specialty trade work are coordinated through appropriately licensed professionals when necessary.
