O’Hair Restorations is a family-run home renovation company serving Gainesville and Alachua County. Founded by Nathan O’Hair in 2021, our team is built on the values of integrity, hard work, and genuine care for the homes we work in. We may be small, but we're mighty. Nathan and Marina handle it all; from flooring and rotten siding and trim installation to small-scale remodels, detailed repairs and upgrades, we approach every project and each client with respect.
Nathan O'Hair
Founder & Owner
Born in Kentucky and raised in Florida, Nate has worked with his hands all his life. With decades of experience, Nathan founded this company so that he could bring high quality work to clients without having to compromise integrity, honesty, and care. If you want the job done right (i.e. beautifully crafted, long-lasting, and built with quality materials), Nathan's your guy. He's unlike any home service expert you've met. Marina "Shade" Sachs
Co-Owner, Operations Manager
Marina helps lead the vision and operations behind O’Hair Restorations. She manages scheduling and project coordination to ensure every job runs smoothly from first conversation to final walkthrough. Her focus is simple: treat each person well, communicate clearly, and ensure every client feels confident in the work being done. She believes great service is as important as great craftsmanship.

Our Vision
Nathan started working with his hands long before O'Hair Restorations became an LLC. Nathan knows the value of working hard, and doing something the right way the first time. He grew up working on a farm in Kentucky, and has expertise in everything from yacht craftsmanship to large-machine painting and maintenance.
In 2021, Nathan decided to build this company from the ground up. He began with a simple bag of tools and his bike, and started to work all over Gainesville. Through willingness and hard work, Nathan built O'Hair Restorations into what it is today.
Nathan is going to continue to grow O'Hair Restorations so that he can help even more people in the Gainesville and Alachua County area.
Our Story
Nathan and his wife, Marina, own and operate O'Hair Restorations. Together, they’ve built the company from the ground up (often working late into the evening from their home office or around the kitchen table) driven by a shared belief that home services should be rooted in trust, craftsmanship, and genuine care for the people they serve. Nathan has worked with his hands his entire life and approaches each project with patience, precision, and pride in the details. From the first estimate to the final walkthrough, he is deeply involved in every project, ensuring that the work meets the high standards clients have come to expect from O’Hair Restorations.
After years working as an educator, Marina joined the company full-time to oversee operations and project coordination. Her role brings a thoughtful, organized approach to every project—supporting clients through communication, planning, and the many moving parts that turn a vision for a home into a finished space.
This transition marks the next chapter of the company: a growing business grounded in high-quality craftsmanship, intentional planning, and a deep commitment to the community we call home. As the company continues to grow, Nathan and Marina are expanding their capabilities with long-term plans to pursue contractor licensing and introduce design-forward services that allow clients to move seamlessly from concept to completion.
